PROJECTS CAPITAL & COAST DHB

Capital & Coast DHB needed a future-facing telecommunications strategy to support the new hospital campus redevelopment.

Challenge

Capital & Coast DHB had embarked on a major redevelopment of its Wellington campus. A key enabler for the new ways of working envisioned for the new campus was a refreshed Telecommunications Strategy that provided more than just speeds, feeds and phones. Voco was engaged to develop the strategy then to manage the sourcing and transition management as part of the redevelopment programme.

Solution

Voco:

  • Reviewed the current state.
  • Identified the key business enablers required, using our interaction modelling methodology.
  • Developed and socialised the strategy.
  • Developed a go-to-market process and then managed it in association with the DHB’s
    procurement and IT people.
  • Provided subject matter experts and project management for the transition.

Results

Voco provided the DHB a basis on which to go to the telecommunications supply market and source the future-facing capability it needed to underpin the operation of the new hospital campus cost- effectively and flexibly.
